Travel from the Caribbean Colombian coastal town Cartagena via Bogotá in Colombia to the old Inca Empire in Peru, visiting the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and its capital Cuzco

This highlights tour has been carefully designed to distil the authentic Jules Verne experience into a concise arrangement, shorter and more affordable. Colombia is an emerging destination, enjoying stability after decades of conflict. Explore Cartagena on the Caribbean Coast, jewel of the Spanish Empire and Bogotá, Colombia’s cosmopolitan capital nestled high in the Andes.
The region was home to many pre-Hispanic cultures including the Incas.

Peru is the heartland of the Incas and still littered with sites that showcase this powerful empire’s powers as master builders, most notably Machu Picchu. Visiting this citadel hidden in the mountains is inspiration enough for a first time visit, but the Incas were just one in a long line of people with a surviving legacy to explore.
