Mekong Explorer - Upstream
Pandaw cruises exclusive to Jules Verne from Thailand’s Golden Triangle along the ‘Mother of all Waters’ and through Laos, the ‘earthly paradise of South East Asia’
Southern Thailand is there for you to spoil yourself, but the north is an untouched paradise of hill tribes, and a very different landscape, climate and culture. Step off-the-beaten-track with us and discover it for yourself on one of our Thailand tours.
Cruising on the River Kwai gives visitors access to the bridge, memorials, museums and sites honouring the prisoners of war. It’s the perfect vantage point from which to take in magnificent scenery and a rich variety of flora and birdlife, and the best mode for visiting local markets, temples, Khmer ruins, waterfalls and hot springs.
If you fancy the idea of exploring this wonderful place by boat, our Mekong explorer cruises are like no other and offer a truly unique experience. Starting in northern Thailand and ending in Laos, you’ll venture through this little-known corner of Indochina, where you’ll be rewarded with timeless landscapes, impressive palaces and glimpses into the natives’ traditional lifestyles and colourful rituals.
Boisterous Bangkok, whatever its reputation, is the site of historic towns, Buddhist temples, palaces and gardens, drawing tourists from all over the world. No Thailand holidays are complete without seeing these wonders. Other sacred spaces include the underground cave shrines in Kanchanaburi and Phetchaburi.
Our tours to Thailand are an adventure for all the senses including your taste buds. Thai food expresses fundamental aspects of the country’s culture: warmth, generosity, calmness and peace. We’re confident that you’ll leave Thailand feeling satisfied – mind, body and soul.
Although the majority of our tours to Thailand are available all year round, the weather in Thailand is generally very hot.
Whether you’re dreaming of visiting the ancient temples and tribes, or are pining for a relaxing meander along Thailand’s Golden Triangle, our team of Personal Travel Experts would be delighted to help you book your next Thailand holiday, making sure every element is planned to perfection.
Our Thailand tours can be enjoyed with a group of like-minded travellers, , as well as solo with an experienced tour guide. This allows you to enjoy a much more personalised experience, with an expert who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the culture, cuisine and more.
