Flexible booking policy
With travel guidelines constantly in flux, we understand that travellers may be hesitant to commit to a holiday many months in advance, so we are introducing a Flexible Booking Policy for all reservations for tours departing more than two months ahead. Whether you are making a new booking or re-booking a tour, you may alter your plans later, free of charge, as long as the original tour departure date is outside the 61-day ‘balance due’ period. So, if your own circumstances change or you feel unsure about your chosen destination, you can switch to a new date and/or destination, either later this year or in 2021. Of course, if a tour is cancelled or rescheduled on Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advice at any time up to the departure date, we will respond to new guidelines and there will be no charge for transferring to other options.

Your wellbeing is our priority
From start to finish of your tour, we and our overseas partners will be following advice and implementing local regulations to provide a safe environment. Contractually confirmed to meet our requirements, hoteliers and cruise operators will be scrupulous in cleaning and sanitising guest rooms and public areas; coaches and excursion vehicles will be regularly disinfected; and, wherever possible, hand sanitiser will be provided and social distancing enabled. Our tour managers and guides will give you advice on adhering to local safety measures, which could vary across the tour and may include wearing face coverings indoors or out. Please understand that you too must comply with local rules and “when in Rome, do as the Romans do”. For your convenience and peace of mind, we recommend that you bring your own supply of hand sanitiser and face masks. Before and throughout the tour, we will respond to local conditions and may do things a little differently from pre-Covid journeys, perhaps restricting seat rotation or re-routing an itinerary. Your wellbeing will always be paramount in any decisions and alterations we may have to make, and we will be doing all we can so that your holiday runs smoothly, safely and worry-free.
