Coronavirus (COVID-19)

During these unusual and challenging times, we have made the decision to suspend all tours departing up to, and including, 21 June 2020. We will be in touch with anyone due to depart over the coming days and weeks to talk through your options. We are working to a strict departure date order and we appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time.

For anyone due to travel between 22 - 30 June, we will be in touch to offer a transfer to a departure later this year or one next year.

There are currently no changes to tours departing in July, however, if you would like to amend your date of travel to later in the year or into 2021 you may do so without incurring any amendment fees.

Rest assured your well-being is our number one priority and our team is in constant contact with our agents and partners around the world. We look forward to supporting them when the world opens up for business again.

Jules Verne is part of a larger international group, REWE

As we’re part of a large international group (DER Touristik), we’re monitoring the situation closely along with our international colleagues within DER Touristik and our parent company REWE. Like all travel companies, we are guided by the advice of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) so if travel advice is updated we can work alongside our airline partners and our agents on the ground to make sure we respond quickly and decisively to official travel advice.

We’re well-equipped to deal with challenges that come our way and our teams have decades of experience between them, as does our parent company.

When travel starts up again

The EU has issued some guidelines and recommendations which provide criteria for the safe restoration of tourism activities across Europe and we expect the rest of the world to follow. More information can be found here. The advice is constantly changing and we will always update our processes in line with the latest government recommendations.
