Highlights of Jordan

An opportunity for an affordable visit to Jordan, based on a direct easyJet flight to Aqaba including visits to Aqaba, Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea, staying at Mövenpick hotels

This highlights tour is carefully designed to distil the Jules Verne experience into a concise arrangement, shorter and more affordable. It ‘highlights’ the contrasting indigo waters of the Red Sea and at the lowest point on earth ‘the great salt lake’ that is the Dead Sea with the Nabataean heritage hidden in the ‘rose-red’ city of Petra.

The highlight of any visit to Jordan is Petra. Voted one of the ‘New 7 Wonders of the World’ in 2007, it’s easy to see why. Its rich historical past, ruined Roman cities and desert citadels are Jordan’s most valuable treasures. Points of interest are bountiful and include the Street of Façades, the Royal Tombs, a Byzantine church and the incredible, ancient Qasr el-Bint Faroun.

Stay at quality hotels and visit ancient, biblical and historic sites including the holy sites of Mount Nebo, where Moses viewed the ‘Promised Land’, Madaba for its ancient Holy Land mosaic map and Bethany, baptism site of Jesus plus Roman Jerash.

Take a guided tour to Jordan for the opportunity to discover a fascinating cultural heritage and diverse natural wonders.
