HIGHLIGHTS OF SOUTH AFRICA

In response to popular demand, this tour will take you from Cape Town, voted number one city by Telegraph readers, to the majestic wildlife of Kruger National Park and spectacular Panorama Route

South Africa is a country of incredible scenic, climatic and cultural contrasts, where travellers can enjoy unspoilt landscapes, explore world-renowned game reserves and uncover a colourful colonial and African history. There are many areas of this great nation to explore, each contributing to the bigger picture that you’ll take away with you.

This programme reveals South Africa’s major attractions including spectacular wildlife at the Kruger National Park and the stunning scenery at the ‘fairest Cape’, staying on the fringes of one of the largest game reserves in the world, with over 700 species of birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibian, as well as the iconic Big Five, and in the heart of Cape Town.

The greater Cape area contains some of South Africa’s most unforgettable scenery and historic architecture, from the Winelands to the Cape of Good Hope, Robben Island and the waterfront, all presided over by the iconic Table Mountain.

The nation’s elegant capital, Pretoria boasts beautiful buildings rising in broad streets lined with jacaranda trees.
