Amazing Amazonia

Discover vast wilderness of lush rain forest and indigenous lands on ‘Natural History’s Greatest Voyage’ cruise for a week on Peru’s remote upper reaches of the mighty Amazon River

Welcome to the jungle! Explore nature, observe monkeys, pink dolphins, caimans, parrots, exotic plants and more.

The voyage of the RF Amazonas takes us through the remote rainforest of the Peruvian jungle combining the comfort and elegance of a first class river vessel with the experience of an expeditionary cruise of discovery. In one of the most culturally and environmentally diverse countries on earth, you will discover one of these last great unexplored regions of the world, the Peruvian Amazon. Travel deep into the protected Pacaya-Samiria Reserve getting unrivalled access to the Peruvian rainforest’s most pristine areas and the opportunity to experience the abundant wildlife and natural beauty of Amazonia, learning about her ecosystems, botany, wildlife habitats and cultural traditions.

Here in the secluded waters, beyond the confluence of the Ucayali and Maranon Rivers, the greatest recorded number of primate species in the ‘New World’ are to be found, together with thousands of colourful birds, the pink and grey dolphins and an exotic profusion of lush tropical flora.
