Wonderous Wales

Immerse yourself in the culture and landscapes of North and Mid Wales. Soak up the stunning scenery, beautiful wildlife and incredible artisan foods, all the while enjoying exceptional, hand-picked accommodation

Discover the ancient history of Wales hidden in the hillsides, as the country and coast play host to a mix of historic sites and World Heritage fortresses which form links in the medieval ‘iron chain’ built by Edward I. Explore slate quarries, Celtic shrines and cultural centres. Centuries ago, pilgrims in their thousands were finding their way to Bardsey Island, drawn there by stories of the special peace to be found at the edge of the western world, drawn to the place of the setting sun, that sense of a sacred place that continues to draw pilgrims here today. Experience a different aspect of Wales each day on our journey of discovery as we explore; from the myths and legends to the coast and mountains that inspire them. Journey to the mountain’s summit and travel deep into the country’s heart. Revel in inspirational landscapes and a living Welsh language. Snowdonia National Park and Llŷn Peninsula are Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Brecon Beacons is a living, working landscape. Discover the artisan produce created in the regions, all whilst delighting in a luxurious fairy tale chateau, on the banks of the Menai Strait, the perfect location from which to explore Anglesey and North Wales, and discovering the charms of a country house and spa located in the rolling hills of Llangammarch Wells, ideally situated for the Welsh countryside and the Brecon Beacons.
