India is a land of varied culture, heritage and religion, a country that requires multiple visits to discover every nook and cranny. This new tour encompasses the best of India visiting a few hidden gems along the way.
India’s largest city, Mumbai with its colonial heritage and Victorian buildings is a contrast to the hustle of Varanasi, where thousands of pilgrims flock every day to bathe or witness cremations in the Holy River Ganges.
The slower paced Lucknow reveals mosques, colonial heritage and extravagant palaces.
India’s ‘Golden Triangle’ formed of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur houses the icon of the sub-continent – the majestic Taj Mahal as well as Maharaja and Mughal heritage.
Udaipur, known fondly as the city of lakes is dominated by the massive City Palace compared with Jodhpur which is shadowed by the mighty Mehrangarh Fort.
Ranthambore gives the best opportunity to spot the elusive tiger while the lesser known Narlai offers a chance to spot the leopard.
