This legendary expedition from London to Hong Kong is a dream of many people and a journey of a lifetime, a chance to experience a real connection between the continents and the great cultures of the world. Unquestionably one of the world’s unique great railway journeys – travelling across Europe by scheduled first class train, across Siberia on Tsar’s Gold Private Train and, by scheduled train to Beijing and onward through China on high speed trains to cosmopolitan Hong Kong.
The Trans-Siberian Railway, once hailed as ‘the fairest jewel in the crown of the Tsars’ is possibly the best ways to absorb the rich cultures, people and sprawling landscapes of the region, travelling from Moscow across seven time zones to the edge of Asia. This historic iron way provides access to some of the world’s once most forbidding and feared destinations via steppe and taiga, the Gobi Desert and the Great Wall uniting landscapes and experiences into the journey of a lifetime.
