SPRING SALE - NOW ON

Exploring Pretoria and Johannesburg, taking safaris in Kruger, visiting legendary battlefields, and touring through terrific scenery on the Panorama Route, this African adventure adds the wildlife reserves and cultural character of Zululand and Eswatini

An immersive experience of every aspect of South Africa, from its culture and heritage to amazing animals and breathtaking landscapes. It begins with the country’s iconic cities, the manicured gardens of Pretoria, the administrative capital, and the landmarks of Nelson Mandela’s life, in and around Johannesburg; and switches from cosmopolitan streets to the country’s first and most famous national park, Kruger, with its wilderness, wide open plains, and wonderful wildlife, including the ‘Big Five’. The journey then takes you off the beaten track, first to the tiny Kingdom of Eswatini, to visit the conservation reserve of Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, and then returning to South Africa for KwaZulu-Natal, witnessing Zulu culture in a community homestead, and cruising on the wide span of Lake Jozini. Haunting history accompanies the last leg of the journey, to skirmish sites and battlefields of the Boer, Zulu, and both World Wars, from the MOTH (Memorable Order of Tin Hats) Hall, to Isandlwana, and Rorke’s Drift, amid the mystical peaks of the Drakensberg (Dragon Mountains).
