'Wanderlust' Top Destinations

Wanderlust magazine has published the top destinations voted by its readers, featuring many of our favourite destinations. In its 20th year as an independent nation, Namibia has been voted Wanderlust's "Top Country". With the dunes of Sossusvlei being amongst the highest in the world, the Fish River Canyon only surpassed in size by the Grand Canyon and Etosha, one of Southern Africa's finest and most important game reserves, it is easy to see why. Runner up was Oman, a little known country off the main tourist track, with vast deserts, extensive coastline and historical heritage.

With Laos the fifth top country and Laos's Luang Prabang the "Top City", it's appropriate that our 'Grand Tour of Indo-China' now stays three nights in Luang Prabang. We have just re-launched Madagascar (second in the "Emerging Destination" category) and Israel (fifth) and continue to feature Libya and Uzbekistan which were in the top ten.
