Flight – 1 night. Delhi - 2 nights. Corbett - 2 nights. Haridwar - 2 nights. Mussoorie - 2 nights. Delhi - 1 night.


Day 1
Fly overnight from London to Delhi.

Day 2 Arrive mid-morning and transfer to the 4-star Ashok Country Resort for two nights.

Day 3 Full-day city tour of Old and New Delhi including a drive past the Red Fort, Jama Masjid Mosque, Lutyen’s New Delhi, Raj Ghat and the unique shopping area of Chandni Chowk.

Day 4 Transfer to the railway station with a packed breakfast for the early morning train (air-conditioned three tier) to Moradabad and continue by road to 4-star Corbett Riverview Retreat. Optional afternoon jungle safari.

Day 5 Morning and afternoon jungle safari in the National Park with a local naturalist.

Day 6 Optional jungle safari before breakfast and departure for Haridwar for a two-night stay at the Haveli Hari Ganga Heritage Hotel in Haridwar. Visit the Ghats to witness the evening prayer ceremonies.

Day 7 Morning at leisure to visit the Bara Bazaar or return to the Ghats independently to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Kumbh Mela. This afternoon there will be a visit to Rishikesh, the place where the Beatles came in to discover ‘the truth’ in 1968.

Day 8 Drive to Mussoorie (2,500 metres) for a two-night stay at the 4-star Kasmanda Palace. Afternoon at leisure to explore the town.

Day 9 Half-day sightseeing includes Landour Bazaar (named after a small town in Wales), Sir George Everest’s Estate and ‘Manor House’ which is amongst the oldest and most reputed schools in India. In the evening ascend Gun Hill by cable car.

Day 10 Morning drive to Dehra Dun to visit the Forest Research Institute and its famous botanical gardens before continuing to Mindrolling Tibetan Monastery. Evening train (air-conditioned Chair car) to Delhi. Overnight at the Ashok Country Resort.

Day 11 Transfer to the airport for the return flight to London arriving later the same day.
