From Delhi to Bombay
Rajasthan, Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, the Taj Mahal and an overnight journey on Indian Railways

Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow direct to Delhi.
Day 2 Morning arrival and transfer to the Ashok Country Resort for overnight. Afternoon panoramic tour of Delhi including Lutyens’ India Gate, Parliament House, Raj Ghat, driving past the Red Fort and visit the Jama mosque.
Day 3 Morning drive to Agra for a two-night stay at the Hotel Clarks Shiraz. Optional half-day excursion to Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565.
Day 4 Early morning visit to the Taj Mahal with an optional afternoon tour to Sikandra or Itmad-Daula.
Day 5 Drive to Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s deserted city en route. Stay two nights at the hotel Narain Niwas Palace.
Day 6 A full-day optional tour of Jaipur includes the Amber Fort, a visit to the City Palace, the Observatory and a view of the ‘Palace of the Winds’.
Day 7 Afternoon drive to Ranthambore. Spend two nights at the Ranthambore Regency Hotel on a full board basis.
Day 8 Early morning and late afternoon game drives give the best opportunity to view the varied wildlife in the National Park. Between ‘safaris’ there is time to relax by the pool or explore the small town.
Day 9 An optional morning game drive. Evening transfer to Sawai Madhopur Railway station to join the overnight train to Mumbai.
Day 10 Morning arrival. Transfer to the 5-star Trident Nariman Point Hotel for overnight, located 100 metres from the ocean and close to Colaba in the heart of the city. Day at leisure.
Day 11 Optional morning tour to Elephanta Island by boat to view the cave temples. Afternoon included sightseeing tour of Mumbai visiting the Gateway of India, the ‘Prince of Wales’ museum, and driving along Marine Drive to Malabar Hill and Dhobi Ghat. Evening transfer to the airport for a farewell dinner and return flight to London Heathrow.
Day 12 Early morning arrival in London.
