Day 1 Fly overnight from London Heathrow to Beijing.
Day 2 Transfer to the 5-star International Hotel for three nights.
Day 3 Visit Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City and Summer Palace.
Day 4 Visit the Temple of Heaven and Great Wall. Peking Duck dinner.
Day 5 Early morning flight to Yichang. Visit Jingzhou Museum and ancient City Wall before boarding the Century Diamond for a four-night cruise.
Day 6 Pass through Xiling gorge and the Three Gorges Dam lock. Visit the Dam project site.
Day 7 An excursion to the Lesser Gorges or Shenong stream. Cruise through the Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge.
Day 8 Continue cruising and visit Shibaozhai Pagoda or Fengdu.
Day 9 Arrive in Chongqing. Disembark and travel to Dazu to visit the Buddhist caves. Continue to Chengdu for overnight at the 5-star Hotel Tibet.
Day 10 Visit Panda Breeding Research Centre, home to more than 50 pandas. Afternoon flight to Beijing for overnight at the 5-star International Hotel.
Day 11Return flight to London Heathrow arriving later the same day.
Extension - Terraootta Army
See the awe-inspiring Terracotta Army standing in battle formation and silently guarding the tomb of the first Qin emperor.
Day 10 Visit the Panda Breeding Research Centre, home to more than 50 pandas. Afternoon flight to Xian for two nights at the 5-star Grand Park Hotel.
Day 11 Visit the Terracotta Warriors, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. Optional Tang Dynasty show.
Day 12 Fly to Beijing for overnight at the 5-star International Hotel.
Day 13 Overnight flight to London Heathrow.
