Day 1 Fly from your chosen airport to Zurich with an included independent rail transfer from Zurich airport to Interlaken. Alternatively, travel by rail on Eurostar- TGV from St. Pancras International via Paris and Basel. Stay seven nights at the 5-star Lindner Grand Hotel Beau Rivage.
Day 2 Walking tour of Interlaken. On Lake Thun visit Castle Oberhofen, then Castle Spiez by boat.
Day 3 A scenic train ride to Grindelwald. Visit the Heimat (folk) museum and perhaps take an independent train ride up to Kleine Scheidegg or to Jungfraujoch via the Eiger North Face.
Day 4 Travel by boat to visit the Ballenberg open-air Swiss Farmhouse Museum and the Sherlock Holmes Museum at Meiringen.
Day 5 By train to Berne for a walking tour including the Clock Tower, old town and the Historical, Einstein and Alpine museums.
Day 6 Day at leisure or for independent exploration.
Day 7 Train to Lucerne for a walking tour and boat ride to the Wagner Villa.
Day 8 By train to Zurich airport for the return flight (or return by rail). Alternatively, extend your stay by seven nights.

A Swiss Rail Pass is included for unlimited travel on most rail, bus and boat journeys and a 50% reduction on most mountain railways/cable cars plus a Swiss Museum Pass for free entrance to most museums and exhibitions.
Prices are based on two or more people travelling together but for those travelling alone a single pass supplement is payable†.
