Andalucia & The Algarve

Day 1 Fly from London Stansted direct to Seville with Ryanair and transfer to the MS Belle de Cadix, moored at the Muelle las Delicas in Seville, for embarkation. There will be a welcome cocktail before dinner on board.

Day 2 An optional half-day panoramic tour of Seville by coach including a walking tour of the district of Santa Cruz and a visit to the Alcazar. After lunch on board, cruise along the River Guadalquivir towards the Atlantic Ocean arriving in the fortifi ed city of Cádiz in the early evening for dinner on board followed by an escorted walking tour.

Day 3 An optional fullday excursion to Cádiz and Gibraltar includes a morning walking tour of Cádiz followed by a panoramic tour of the Rock and a visit to the grotto of Saint Michel. Lunch at a local restaurant is included. Evening cruise departure towards Portugal.

Day 4 This morning the vessel will sail along the Guadiana River to the typical Algarve village of Alcoutim. In the afternoon continue to Vila Real de St Antonio from where there is the option of an excursion to Faro, (bookable locally). Dinner this evening will have a Portuguese theme.

Day 5 Cruise on the sea to Sanlucar de Barrameda on the Gulf of Cádiz. Arrive in the afternoon when there will be an optional excursion to a wine cellar and equestrian show. Dinner on board will have a Spanish theme followed by flamenco dancing.

Day 6 Arrive in the morning at Puerto de Santa Maria for free time in this historic port before an optional afternoon excursion by coach to Jerez, including a guided tour of a bodega with an opportunity to sample the local sherry. Gala dinner on board as the boat sails towards Seville.

Day 7 A full-day optional tour to Cordoba visiting the Mezquita and including a walking tour of the old Muslim and Jewish quarters. Lunch in Cordoba is included and there will be free time for private exploration before returning to the vessel.

Day 8 Disembark in Seville for the return flight direct to London Stansted.
