In brief:

Bucharest - 1 night. Sinaia - 2 nights. Sibiu - 2 nights. Sighisoara - 1 night. Radauti - 2 nights.

Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow to Bucharest. Transfer to the 4-star Golden Tulip Victoria Tower for overnight. Optional folkloric show and dinner.

Day 2 City tour of Bucharest includes the Palace of Parliament, Metropolitan Church, Romanian Athenaeum, Arch of Triumph and the open-air village museum. Travel to Sinaia for two nights at the 4-star Palace Hotel.

Day 3 Visit Dracula Castle in Bran. Continue to Brasov for a walking tour of the cobbled streets and visit St. Nicholas Church and First Romanian School Museum.

Day 4 Visit Peles Castle in Sinaia and continue later to Sibiu for two nights at the 4-star Hotel Ramada.

Day 5 Sightseeing includes the Bruckenthal Museum and Evangelical Church in Sibiu and the Glass Icon Museum in the nearby village of Sibiel. Enjoy lunch at a local farmhouse.

Day 6 Travel to Sighisoara, visiting the Biertan Fortified Church en route, for a tour including the Clock Tower museum and the house where Dracula was born. Overnight at the 3-star Hotel Sighisoara.

Day 7 Pass through Bicaz Canyon and visit Varatec Monastery en route to Raduti for a two-night stay at the 4-star Hotel Gerald’s.

Day 8 Full-day tour of the painted monasteries and a visit to a local black pottery workshop.

Day 9 Morning transfer to Suceava airport for the return flight to London Heathrow via Bucharest.
