Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow to Bucharest. Transfer to the 4-star Hotel Golden Tulip Times for an overnight stay.
Day 2 City tour of Bucharest includes the Palace of the Parliament, Metropolitan Church, Romanian Athenaeum and Arch of Triumph. Later visit the open-air village museum with time for lunch. Evening flight to Suceava and transfer to the 4-star Hotel Gerald’s for two nights.
Day 3 Full-day tour of the painted monasteries and a visit to a local black pottery workshop in Marginea.
Day 4 Pass through Bicaz Canyon and visit Varatec Monastery en route to Sighisoara. Stay overnight at the 4-star Hotel BinderBubi.
Day 5 Visit the Clock Tower museum and the house where Dracula was born. Travel to Sibiu, visiting the Biertan Fortified Church en route. Two nights are spent at the 4-star Hotel Golden Tulip Ana Tower.
Day 6 Sightseeing includes the Bruckenthal Museum and Evangelical Church in Sibiu and the Glass Icon Museum in the nearby village of Sibiel. Enjoy the special ‘Farmhouse Dinner’.
Day 7 Travel to Sinaia to visit Peles Castle and the monastery. Stay two nights at the 4-star Palace Hotel.
Day 8 Sightseeing in Brasov includes a walking tour of the cobbled streets and visit to St. Nicholas Church and First Romanian School Museum. Later travel to Bran to visit Dracula Castle and enjoy a walking tour of the scenic area of Zarnesti.
Day 9 Return to Bucharest for the flight to London Heathrow.
