An opportunity to join the luxury Danube Express for three nights between Budapest and Warsaw with visits to Gdansk, Cracow, Košice and Malbork Castle
Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow (British Airways) or Luton to Budapest and transfer to the 4-star Hotel Astoria for two nights.
Day 2 Morning sightseeing tour includes St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Heroes’ Square, City Park, Gellert Hill and Castle Hill. Optional afternoon visit to the Children’s Railway in the Buda Hills.
Day 3 Transfer to Nyugati Station for a champagne reception in the former Royal Waiting Room. Board the Danube Express to travel north along the Danube to Slovakia and Košice for a tour of the city.
Day 4 Arrive at Auschwitz concentration camp for a morning tour. Continue to Cracow for a city tour. Evening departure north to the Baltic.
Day 5 Morning arrival in Malbork, once a stronghold of the Teutonic Knights, where a visit to the Gothic castle is included. Continue to Gdansk for dinner in the city before overnight to Warsaw.
Day 6 Disembark in Warsaw for an orientation tour and visit to Wilanow Palace. Two nights at the 5-star Bristol Hotel.
Day 7 Morning walking tour of the old town includes Castle Square, St John’s Cathedral and the Market Square. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 8 Transfer to Warsaw airport for the return fl ight to London Gatwick (British Airways) or Luton.
