Day 1 Fly from your chosen airport to Cracow and transfer to your chosen hotel for four nights.
Day 2 A walking tour of the Old Town and the old Jewish district. Afternoon excursion to Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory Museum and Wieliczka Salt Mines.
Day 3 Full-day excursion to Auschwitz-Birkenau, Wadowice and Kalwaria Zebrzydowska.
Day 4 Morning walking tour of Wawel Hill, the Royal Chambers and Royal Cathedral. Evening ‘Jewish Dinner’.
Day 5 Return flight or extend your stay in Warsaw.
Extension - Warsaw Restored
The boundless determination of its people ensured the restoration of Warsaw, Poland’s capital since the 16th century, after the Second World War with the aid of old photographs, paintings and architectural plans. The Warsaw Rising Museum sheds light on Poland’s complex past, of which the Jewish Ghetto is a poignant reminder. Reflecting on the many famous Polish émigrés, the scientific museum in the home of Marie Curie, twice Nobel prizewinner, is visited.
Day 5(Friday) Travel by train to Warsaw for three nights at the 5-star Hotel InterContinental.
Day 6 Morning city tour viewing the Royal Castle, Jewish ghetto area, old town and Lazienki Palace.
Day 7 Morning walking tour includes the Royal Way ‘Krakowskie Przedmiescie’, Warsaw Rising Museum, Marie Curie Museum and Church of the Holy Cross.
Day 8 Return flight from Warsaw to London Heathrow (outbound flight from Heathrow via Warsaw to Cracow).
