Norwegian Coastal Voyage
The original ‘Hurtigruten’ cruise between Bergen and the Russian border
Cruise Vessels
These ships are both fascinating and endearing, combining essential commercial functions with comfortable cruising. Their specially designed shallow hulls mean they are able to visit small ports and also hug the Norwegian coastline, offering optimum views.
The ships used in this itinerary (built between 1993 and 2003) have restaurants, snack bar, lounge, bar, outside and inside viewing areas and 300 – 650 berths in cabins with shower and WC. Outside cabins in 2008 are 'run of the ship' and in 2009 are in categories J and P. Category J has limited or no view and category P cabins are on a higher deck, usually the promenade deck, with a view. Additionally, in 2009 full board is included in the price.
