Day 1Fly from London Heathrow to Bergen for two nights.
Day 2 Walking tour including the Hanseatic Museum.
Day 3 Travel by train to Oslo (7 hrs) for two nights.
Day 4 Enjoy a walking tour and visit to National Gallery.
Day 5 Fly to Tromsø for two nights. Northern Lights tour.
Day 6 A walking tour of Tromsø and the Polar Museum. Evening optional dog-sledding excursion.
Day 7 Day at leisure. Embark in the late evening for a four-night cruise on your Hurtigruten vessel and set sail.
Day 8 Sail through the Lofoten and Vesterålen Islands and call at Harstad, Sortland, Svolvær and Stamsund. The optional ‘A Taste of Vesterålen’ excursion visits Harstad, Trondenes peninsula with its medieval church and museum, and Hinnøya Island (rejoin the vessel in Sortland via the Gullesfjord by ferry).
Day 9 Cross the Arctic Circle and call at Brønnøysund and Rørvik.
Day 10 Morning arrival in Trondheim for a tour including medieval Nidaros, Scandinavia’s oldest cathedral. Later call at Molde and Ålesund in the late evening.
Day 11 Afternoon disembarkation in Bergen for the return flight.
