From Sorrento to Sicily
An unique opportunity to combine the Bay of Naples with atmospheric Taormina
Day 1 Fly from London Gatwick to Naples. Transfer to the Hotel Parco del Sole, for a three-night stay. Later there will be an information briefing by our local representative.
Day 2Optional full-day tour to Capri & Anacapri - £62.
Day 3 Day at leisure. Independent travel possible to Amalfi, Pompeii or surrounding sites of interest - to be advised locally.
Day 4 Depart hotel late afternoon to join the boat* in Naples for an overnight sailing to Catania in Sicily. Dinner will be served on board and accommodation is in double outside cabins and includes dinner (drinks excluded).
Day 5 Morning arrival to Catania and transfer to the Park Hotel Silemi on the Bay of Letojanni, for a three-night stay.
Day 6 Optional excursion to Mount Etna, one of the world’s largest volcanoes. View the smaller, extinct volcanoes and craters with an option to continue by cable car and jeep to the summit (cable car–£35 and jeep to the summit–£48 payable locally).
Day 7 Optional excursion to Syracuse, the home of Archimedes, with its diversity of monuments spanning from the Hellenic, early Christian, Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque eras (£35).
Day 8 Transfer to the airport at Catania for the return flight to London or extend your stay in Letojanni by 4 nights.

Travel from Naples to Catania is on a modern vessel with 78 cabins with their own bathroom and shower. There are 2 restaurants and a bar.
