Day 1 Depart from London Gatwick to Florence and transfer to your chosen hotel for a seven-night stay.
Day 2 A half-day walking tour of the Piazza Signoria and the Uffizi (timed entry).
Day 3A half-day walking tour visits the Piazza della Repubblica, Duomo and the museum.
Day 4 A half-day visit to Santa Maria Novella and the cloisters, the ‘Antica Farmacia’, Dante’s house and Santa Croce.
Days 5–7 At leisure to visit the Accademia, the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, Michelangelo’s House – the list of possibilities is endless. Alternatively, take a local bus to Fiesole or participate in an optional excursion programme, available locally including Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca Chianti or the Medici Villas.
Day 8 Transfer to Florence airport for the return flight to London Gatwick.
Winter Weekends - 3 nights from £337
Until Mar 21 2009 and from Nov 21- Feb 13 2010, 3-night stays are available at the Hotel Executive. Itinerary as per days 1-4 above at a reduction of £120.
