Bulgaria

Bulgaria stands at the crossroads of the East and West with Sofia as its capital. While tourism to date has concentrated almost exclusively on the Black Sea coast, the interior of Bulgaria rewards the inquisitive traveller with wonderful natural landscapes, attractive villages and towns steeped in a historic and cultural heritage, all underpinned by rich folklore tradition.
