Return to Havana
Discover Cuba’s colonial history and natural beauty – flying direct with Virgin to Havana
Day 1 Fly from London Gatwick to Havana. Transfer to the 5-star Hotel Parque Central for a two-night stay.
Day 2 Full-day tour exploring both old and new Havana, including San Francisco de Asis Square and Old Square.
Day 3 Travel to Trinidad visiting Cienfuegos en route. Explore the old town and time permitting there is an optional boat ride across the bay and a visit to Jagua Fort. Continue to Trinidad for two nights at the Hotel Las Cuevas or similar.
Day 4 Full-day visit of Trinidad, nominated as an UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 5 Travel to Sancti Spiritus via the village of Topes de Collantes in the Sierra de Escambray mountain range. Continue to the Hostal Rijo or similar for overnight.
Day 6 Return to Havana, visiting colonial Santa Clara en route. Founded in 1689, Santa Clara is home to Ernesto Guevara Square, with its monument to Che Guevara. Two nights at the Hotel Parque Central.
Day 7 A day at leisure in Havana.
Day 8 Early afternoon transfer to the airport for the overnight flight to London.
Day 9 Arrive Gatwick in the early morning.
