A unique arrangement on a working passenger-cargo liner sailing to and staying on the remote mid-Atlantic island of St Helena combined with stays in Namibia or Cape Town
Cape Town – 3rd Nov 2008
Day 1 Fly overnight from London Heathrow to Cape Town (British Airways).
Day 2 Arrive Cape Town for three nights at 3-star Fountains Hotel.
Day 3 An excursion to Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope and Greenmarket Square. Visit Table Mountain, weather permitting (excludes cableway ticket) and Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.
Day 4 Tour Cape Peninsula: Chapman’s Peak, Cape Point, Good Hope Nature Reserve, penguin colony in Boulders Bay and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Day 5 Transfer to RMS St Helena and embark for the cruise to St Helena.
Days 6–9 At sea.
Day 10 Arrive at St Helena. Transfer to Consulate Hotel for nine nights.
Days 11–18 Three excursions included and time at leisure.
Day 19 Board the RMS St Helena for the return journey to Cape Town.
Days 20–23 At sea.
Day 24 Disembark in Cape Town and overnight at the 3-star Fountains Hotel.
Day 25 Overnight return flight to London Heathrow.
Day 26 Arrive London Heathrow.
