Exotic Namibia, one of the world’s newest nations which only elected its first president in 1989, is home to the world’s oldest and possibly most beautiful desert, the Namib. Dominated by a massive mineral pan, the Etosha is one of Southern Africa’s finest and most important game reserves. Declared a National Park in 1907, it is home to around 550 species of mammal, reptile, bird and amphibian. A limited rain supply supports the Etosha Pan which, particularly during their winter months, concentrates the wildlife into specific areas, thus improving game viewing. Stay at a rest camp inside Etosha Park, an attractive lodge with floodlit waterhole and optional night game drives, and stay at the best hotels in Windhoek and Swakopmund.
VJV Special Event - A Castle in Africa
A special dinner with wine tasting at the Castle Hotel Heinitzburg, overlooking Windhoek. This castle was commissioned in 1914 and transformed into a privately owned hotel in 1996.
