Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow to Nairobi arriving early evening and transfer to the 5-star InterContinental Hotel in Nairobi for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Travel north towards Samburu National Reserve and 4-star Samburu Sopa Lodge. Late afternoon game drive.
Day 3 Early morning game drive before breakfast with time at leisure before a further afternoon game drive.
Day 4 Depart for the Aberdare Mountains and home to the 4-star Treetops Lodge situated overlooking waterholes and salt licks. Lunch at the Outspan before transferring to the lodge for overnight.
Day 5 Drive to Lake Naivasha, via Thompson’s Falls and the Subukia tea and coffee farm for a tour of the plantations and factory with lunch. An afternoon game drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park, home to numerous bird species including its famous flamingoes. Overnight at the 4-star Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.
Day 6 Continue to the Masai Mara Game Reserve for a twonight stay at the 4-star Mara Sopa Lodge (approx. 153 miles). Time at leisure before a late afternoon game drive.
Day 7 Home to thousands of animals, the Masai Mara and the Serengeti are really one great reserve and both morning and afternoon game drives drive deep into the heart of the reserve.
Day 8 Late morning departure for Nairobi (approx. 160 miles) with a picnic lunch en route. Dinner at the Carnivore restaurant in Nairobi before transferring to the airport for the overnight flight to London.
Day 9 Arrive Heathrow in the morning.
