Exploring the treasures of Cairo and Alexandria and following in the footsteps of Alexander the Great, Ptolemy, Cleopatra and more recent rulers and military commanders
Day 1 Fly from London Heathrow to Cairo and transfer to your chosen hotel for a four-night stay.
Days 2 – 4 Two included half-day excursions: the Pyramids and Great Sphinx and a guided visit to the Egyptian Museum. Further optional excursions are available.
Day 5 Travel to El Alamein to view the British and Commonwealth cemeteries and the Military Museum commemorating the North African campaign. Continue to Alexandria; two nights at the 5-star Sheraton Montazah Hotel.
Day 6 A full-day of sightseeing includes the National Museum, Roman Theatre, Catacombs and Bibliotheca Alexandria.
Day 7 Travel to Cairo for the return flight.
