A Few Days at the Pyramids
Staying close to the Pyramids and viewing the treasures of Tutankhamun
Day 1 Morning flight from London Heathrow to Cairo. Transfer to your chosen hotel for four nights.
Days 2–4 Two included half-day excursions: the Pyramids and Great Sphinx and a guided visit to the Egyptian Museum. Also included in 2009 is ‘Cairo by Felucca’ in the evening. Optional excursions: Citadel, Mohammed Ali Mosque and Khan el-Khalili (half day inc. lunch), Memphis & Saqqara (half day inc. lunch) and Sound & Light at the Pyramids.
Day 5 Afternoon return flight.
Extension -Alexandria
Two nights at the 5-star Sheraton Montazah Hotel in Alexandria with included visits to the National Museum, Roman Theatre, Bibliotheca and Catacombs in Alexandria and the Second World War cemetery and museum at el-Alamein.
