Lake Nasser cruise - 4 nights. Nile cruise - 3 nights.

Itinerary 1 (Jan - Apr 2011)

Day 1
Fly from London Gatwick or Manchester to Luxor. Transfer by road to Lake Nasser and embark on the MS Prince Abbas for four nights.

Day 2 Visit the temple of Kalabsha, hemispeos of Beit el-Wali and Chapel of Kertassi and sail later to Wadi el-Sebua.

Day 3
Visit the temples of Wadi el-Sebua, Dakka and Mahraka. Sail to Amada to visit its temple, the temple of Derr and rock tomb of Penout. Overnight in Amada.

Day 4
Sail to Kasr Ibrim and later enjoy the dramatic over water arrival at Abu Simbel for overnight. Afternoon visit to the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari. Evening Sound & Light performance.

Day 5 Transfer by road to Aswan to board the MS Hamees for three nights. Visit the High Dam and temple of Philae.

Day 6
Sail to Edfu visiting its temple.

Day 7 Sail to Luxor for overnight and visit the Karnak Temple. Luxor Temple private reception.

Day 8
A morning excursion to the Valley of the Kings, temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon. Return flight.

An extra week (breakfast daily) staying at 5-star hotels; Sheraton Alexandria 2 nights, Mövenpick Cairo Pyramids 3 nights and Luxor Steigenberger Nile Palace 2 nights. Visit the Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Mohammed Ali Mosque, Khan el-Khalili, Memphis, Saqqara, el-Alamein and Alexandria.
