Return to the Nile

In the same way that a good book repays a second reading, a return visit allows for examination of different aspects of the great temples and tombs of the Nile or time to visit new sites, perhaps the fine Luxor and Nubian museums. Whilst one’s first Nile cruise is an unforgettable and enriching experience in so many ways, a second cruise combined with time in Luxor and Aswan allows one to delve further into its ancient heritage and explore its ancient cities.

We are pleased, therefore to offer a special tariff for those returning to Egypt(or even for first-timers) where the choice of sightseeing is left open to allow the possibility of independent exploration or relaxation. Optional visits may be reserved to new sites or to sites already visited.

VJV Exclusive Event - Luxor Temple Reception
A private reception at Luxor Temple has been arranged exclusively for the guests of Voyages Jules Verne. Walk down the illuminated avenue of sphinxes and enjoy a cocktail served by staff in pharaonic uniform at the illuminated temple before strolling through unimpeded by other visitors. A recording of Verdi’s Aida, once staged in the temple, will provide a musical background to the occasion and local musicians will play the Egyptian ‘takht’ music.
