Itinerary 1

Day 1Fly from London Gatwick to Luxor and transfer to the MS Hamees or SS Misr for seven nights.
Day 2 A morning excursion to the West Bank visits the Valley of the Kings, temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Edfu for overnight.
Day 3 Visit Edfu temple and continue to Aswan for overnight.
Day 4 A morning visit to the High Dam and temple of Philae. Afternoon cruise by felucca or private boat to the Kitchener Island Botanical Gardens and Elephantine Island.
Day 5 Day at leisure to explore Aswan.
Day 6 Sail to Edfu visiting the temple at Kom Ombo en route.
Day 7 Sail to Luxor for overnight. Afternoon visit to Karnak temple and Luxor Museum. Luxor Temple private reception.
Day 8 Fly to Cairo for four nights at the Mövenpick Cairo Pyramids or upgrade to the Mena House.
Day 9A guided visit to the Egyptian Museum. Afternoon excursion to the Citadel, bazaars of Khan el-Khalili and Mohammed Ali Mosque. Optional Sound & Light at the Pyramids.
Day 10 Visit the Pyramids and Great Sphinx. Visit Memphis and Saqqara.
Day 11 Old Cairo excursion.
Day 12 Fly to Abu Simbel to visit the temples and embark on the MS Prince Abbas for three nights. Evening Sound & Light performance.
Day 13 Cruise to Amada. Visit its temple, the temple of Derr and rock tomb of Penout. Continue to Wadi el-Sebua for overnight.
Day 14Visit the temples of Wadi el-Sebua, Dakka and Mahraka. Sail to Aswan.
Day 15 Visit the temple of Kalabsha, hemispeos of Beit el-Wali and chapel of Kertassi. Transfer by road to Luxor for the return flight.
