Restaurants, bar, bakery, pool (heated in winter) and roof café with views of the pyramids. 240 air-conditioned rooms in the hotel grounds with private facilities, hairdryer, safe, mini-bar, satellite TV and terrace. The hotel is constructing a new wing, sectioned off for minimal disturbance to guests, and due to finish by the end of 2012.

The Mena House Oberoi
Overlooked by the Pyramid of Cheops and linked with travel to Egypt since the days of Empire, the ‘Palace at the Pyramids’ offers a choice of historic restaurants and bars (the ‘Palace’ building is due to close at the end of May, although this may be delayed). The renovated Mena Garden Wing remains open with its own restaurant, bar, spa, pool and rooms with air-conditioning, private facilities, hairdryer, safe, mini-fridge and satellite TV.
